The Babysitter is a 'Netflix Original' Horror Comedy starring the ludicrously attractive Samara Weaving (Ash vs Evil Dead and the dreadful Australian TV soap Home and Away).
The story is about a kid who decides to stay awake to secretly see what his babysitter gets up to with her friends. Unfortunately, he didn't expect to find out that she was a part of a demonic cult. I won't spoil the movie. However, the trailer tries its best to do that, so if you're already sold, don't watch it, just go straight into the movie.
The Babysitter is a fast paced, thoroughly enjoyable teen Horror Comedy, that has a similar tone to Fright Night and Jennifer's Body. It's full of great one-liners, and hilarious moments, as well as plenty of creative death scenes and obligatory 'jump-scares'. I think it has the potential to become a cult classic. It certainly will in my house, anyway.
