Not to be confused with the other American Satan soundtrack, performed by the imaginary band from the film, The Relentless (see my review here), this album is a compilation of other tracks used in the movie.

Sumerian Records, who were also behind the film (read my review here), have really pulled out all the stops with this soundtrack. They clearly had a lot riding on the success of American Satan, so they've put together an amazing collection of songs from a stunning array of artists.

This soundtrack has it all, from contemporary bands like Bad Omens and Asking Alexandria, to old school Hard Rock classics from Skid Row and Slaughter, not to mention bangers from international giants like Deftones, Parkway Drive and Nightwish.

For me the most essential tracks on here are the haunting covers of Danzig's Mother and Korn's Freak On A Leash by Prep School. Captivating stuff!

If you like all eras of Metal, and want to discover some killer tracks, this soundtrack is definitely worth some attention.
