Everyone's favourite Pirate Metal band have returned to these shores with their fifth album. If you're familiar with the band, you know what to expect and that's exactly what you'll get. Alestorm once again dish up their stew of Folk Metal and Power Metal with lyrics about drinking rum and being pirates. What more could you want?

It's all great fun. The songs themselves are immensely catchy, and were born to be sang along to at festivals by pissed up Metal-Heads. What's also impressive is that there are no fillers. Every song is killer, making this one of those albums you can listen to in its entirety without contemplating hitting the skip button once. My favourites are Mexico, Fucked With An Anchor and the epic Treasure Island which ends the journey of this record in style.

The production is first class too, making this an essential release for anyone who enjoys this kind of thing. Anyone who doesn't needs to be made to walk the plank and face eternity in a watery grave as shark faeces.
